500 Live Edge Tables: A Milestone for Stammdesign

This week, we are celebrating a very special milestone in the world of Stammdesign: the delivery of our 500th live edge table. We want to take this opportunity to not only showcase our latest table highlight but also to share our philosophy and core values.

We rely on renewable energy and efficient use of material waste. Our production is nearly energy self-sufficient, thanks to our in-house photovoltaic system and the use of leftover materials for heating.

5. Social Sustainability

Our employees have the freedom to work independently and implement their own ideas. Craft traditions are important to us, which is why we regularly organize woodworking courses.

6. Preserving the Uniqueness of Nature

We preserve nature’s uniqueness by keeping our wood slabs in their natural form. The combination with glass gives our live edge tables a floating elegance.

Wir verwenden nur regionales Holz aus einem Umkreis von etwa 250 km. Dies trägt zur höherwertigen Nutzung des Holzrohstoffs bei. Unsere Materialbeschaffung ist wenig transportintensiv, und jeder Baum kann über einen QR-Code bis zu seinem Ursprung zurückverfolgt werden.

4. Nachhaltigkeit in der Produktion

Wir setzen auf erneuerbare Energie und effiziente Nutzung von Materialabfällen. Unsere Produktion erfolgt nahezu energieautark dank unserer hauseigenen Photovoltaik-Anlage und der Nutzung von Reststoffen für die Heizung.

Unsere Mitarbeiter haben die Freiheit, ihre Arbeit selbstständig zu gestalten und eigene Ideen umzusetzen. Traditionen im Handwerk sind uns wichtig, daher organisieren wir regelmäßig Handwerkskurse.
